Section award paper list             Young researcher's paper award list

List of awarded papers of ETRAN / IcETRAN 2016 (previous Conference) can be found here.

Each section of the ETRAN Society will propose two awards:

  • the Best Section Paper, and
  • the Best Young Researcher's Paper.

The candidates for the awards are the authors of both, the national ETRAN (in Serbian) and the International IcETRAN conference (in English). The proposals of the awardees will be made by the session chair and the member of the steering committee of a particular section. The Steering Committee of the Conferences decides about the awards.

Only one paper per section would be awarded the Best Section Paper.

The number of awarded Best Young Researcher's Papers depends on the number of presented papers. The minimum number in the section must be nine with at least three young researcher's papers. If a section comprises a total of 24 presentations or less on both conferences, one paper would be awarded, and if there are more than 24 presentations, then two awards could be given. To be eligible for the award the young researcher needs to be the first author and personally present the paper.

The authors of the awarded presentations will be invited to submit an extended version of the article for publication in one of the open access research journals: Serbian Journal of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Microwave review and Electronics (free of charge).

Also, the first author of the awarded paper will be offered to participate in the annual ETRAN Conferences in 2018 free of charge (no conference fees and one-night accommodation if the author participates without the paper or two nights accommodation if the author submits the paper that is accepted).
