Stojanovi\u0107<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><i>University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><i>Novi Sad, Serbia<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><b>Measurement Methods, Instrumentation and Data Processing for Textile and Flexible Sensors<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><b>Abstract:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Sensors made on flexible and textile substrates have gained a lot of attention in scientific communities because of their wearability, portability, and continuous functionality. With recent technological developments, fabrication costs have been lowered, and there is an increasing number of such sensors. In addition to the fabrication of flexible and textile sensors, the development of the corresponding readout electronics is still a demanding task, which can be divided into three main subfields: the development of the appropriate measurement method, the realization of the corresponding instrumentation device (hardware) and data processing of the obtained results. In this paper, we presented approaches for the reliable microcontroller-based readout of resistive sensors, wireless readout of resistive and passive LC sensors, and implementation of such methods in low-cost and portable devices. Moreover, methods for data processing based on modeling with the equivalent electrical circuits and parameter estimation methods are also discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><b>Short Bio:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<table width=\"664\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"7\">\n<tbody>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td width=\"103\">\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3585\" src=\"https:\/\/www.etran.rs\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/mitarsimic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"247\" \/><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"533\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><b>Mitar Simi\u0107 <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">was born in Ljubovija, Republic of Serbia in 1987. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 2017. He is a Postdoctoral Researcher within the STRENTEX project at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He is an author\/coauthor of 30 scientific papers in leading peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor.
